John Wambua Mutuku
John was a young boy into sports when he got involved in an accident that left him crippled and changed his attitude. John knows what it means to be fit and be the captain of the football team and he knows also what it means to be suddenly cut out of your own world because you are now “disabled”. John is the living proof that being disabled doesn’t mean being unable and is determined to unveil touching and inspiring stories of people who have overcome their handicap in a country (Kenya) where stigma and shame are harder to deal with then a walker or a wheelchair.
