White Africa – From Cameroon to Piemonte, an Albino’s self-rescue
by Barbara D’Amico and Fabio Lepore
Stéphane is a journalist from Cameroon. He’s educated and curious, he has a job that he loves, a wife and children. But he’s different from his fellow citizens: his skin and his hair are as white as snow, due to his Albinism. When in 2007 Mount Cameroon resumes its activity Stéphane’s life is doomed: the Albinos are considered responsible for the natural disaster and a cruel hunt is unleashed. Stéphane is forced to leave everything behind, in search for a new life. In Italy.
